By creating an account or using the PromptQuote application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use PromptQuote.

PromptQuote provides tools to help tradespeople and service businesses create quotes, issue invoices, manage customers, schedule jobs, track tasks, and record business activity.
Important: PromptQuote assists you in creating business documents. The accuracy, completeness, and legal validity of any quote, invoice, or other document you produce using the app is your sole responsibility. PromptQuote does not provide legal, financial, or accounting advice. Always review documents before sending them to customers.
To use PromptQuote you must:
Accounts created with false or misleading information may be suspended or deleted without notice.
When subscriptions are introduced:
Pricing may change. Where a price change affects your subscription, we will provide reasonable notice through the app or by email before it takes effect.
If you purchase a Lifetime Access plan, this grants access to PromptQuote for the operational lifetime of the product, not for your own lifetime.
PromptQuote does not guarantee it will operate indefinitely. If the service is discontinued, any compensation or alternative arrangement offered is at PromptQuote's discretion; no contractual refund is due. Lifetime plans are non-transferable and cannot be resold, gifted, or shared.
Your business data — customers, quotes, invoices, jobs, expenses, photos, and all content you create in PromptQuote — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over it.
You may export certain data (such as invoice PDFs and customer CSV exports) from within the app. If you wish to request a copy of all data we hold about you, or to have your account deleted, contact us at promptquote.app@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You must not use PromptQuote to:
Breach of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without a refund.
We aim to keep PromptQuote available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, third-party service outages, or circumstances outside our control may cause periods of unavailability. We will endeavour to minimise disruption where possible.
We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime, whether planned or unplanned.
We maintain reasonable backups of your data as part of our infrastructure. However, you should not rely solely on PromptQuote for the preservation of business-critical records.
We recommend keeping your own copies of important documents. You can currently download invoice PDFs and export customer data as a CSV file from within the app. We are not liable for data loss caused by third-party infrastructure failures, device loss, or user error outside our reasonable control.
Some features in PromptQuote may use AI to suggest content, such as job descriptions or quote wording. Any AI-generated suggestions are provided as assistance only. You must review and approve all content before sending it to customers. PromptQuote is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content that you send.
PromptQuote is an evolving product. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. Where we remove a feature that was explicitly promised as permanent in your paid plan, we will notify you. No refund is due for feature changes unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

When PromptQuote is distributed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, those platforms' own terms and conditions also apply to your use of the app. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the app store terms, the app store terms take precedence where they relate to the distribution platform itself.
To cancel your subscription, use your device's subscription management settings (Google Play or Apple App Store).
To delete your account and request removal of your personal data, contact us at promptquote.app@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate fraud prevention purposes.
Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. If you have an active paid subscription, access continues until the end of the billing period; the subscription must be cancelled separately through the relevant app store.
Accounts with an outstanding payment may have data held for up to 30 days beyond the non-payment notice period before deletion.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to PromptQuote, including job photos, gallery images, and business documents.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the rights to do so, and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights (including images of people where appropriate consent has been obtained). PromptQuote reserves the right to remove content that breaches these terms or applicable law.
When you send quotes, invoices, or other communications to your customers using PromptQuote, you are solely responsible for the content of those communications, for having a lawful basis to contact your customers (including compliance with email and SMS marketing rules), and for any disputes that arise between you and your customers.
PromptQuote is not a party to any transaction between you and your customers.
The person who creates a PromptQuote account is its owner. PromptQuote will not arbitrate ownership disputes between business partners or colleagues. Where a genuine ownership dispute arises, we may require a court order or formal signed agreement before transferring account control.
PromptQuote is not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks on our infrastructure providers, natural disasters, government action, or the failure of third-party services we rely on.
If a subscription payment fails or is not made, we will send you an email notification. If payment is not resolved within a reasonable period, access to the service may be suspended. Data associated with a suspended account will be retained for 30 days before deletion, unless otherwise required by law.
PromptQuote reserves the right to limit storage, bandwidth, or upload activity for accounts whose usage is significantly beyond normal patterns. In such cases, we will contact you before taking any action.
Some features may be released in beta or preview form. Beta features may be unstable, incomplete, or subject to change or removal without prior notice and without compensation.
Any custom development or modifications made to PromptQuote at a user's request remain the intellectual property of PromptQuote unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing before the work begins.
PromptQuote's brand, logo, application design, software, and underlying code are the intellectual property of B.M.S Decorating (trading as PromptQuote). Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our brand or intellectual property outside of your normal use of the service.
You retain ownership of all content you create and upload. PromptQuote does not claim a licence over your business data or documents beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PromptQuote (and B.M.S Decorating) shall not be liable for:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of PromptQuote after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
